Windows Live Wave 4
So today I was told that the windows live wave 4 has been leaked to the public so I decided to give it a try. On first glance you notice many new enhancements. Since I only uise live mail and messenger these are the only ones that I can really provide any input on but the changes are extremely cool. With the messenger you first notice that the messenger boox for sign in has been widened, once logged in you notice why as they have extended the live social feeds to be shown in messenger with a similar design to their reecent design change such as the Silverlight facebook app and the 7 series phones. They ask you when you sign in whether you are ore interested in your contacts or social, since messenger is all about IM and has been for a while I suggest that you choose the messenger side however this can be reverted back.
Once you are in you will notice a few different changes to the UI however much remains the same. Some changes include:-
- Tabbed chats
- New emoticons collection
- New categories for contacts including blocked contacts.
- New photo sharing
- Video messaging
- Live Badges
- New scenes.
